Our Story

Where the Lake Meets Home

Nestled directly across from Hawkins Beach, the Hawkins Lake Gather House is being lovingly crafted as East Texas's most welcoming lakeside destination at one of the most pristine spring-fed lakes in the area.

Whether you're planning a group getaway, family reunion, a wedding celebration, a corporate retreat/party, or simply a weekend escape from the everyday — our property offers the perfect blend of natural beauty, comfort, and Texas hospitality.

The County Park is directly across the street from our property. It has lake access for fishing and boating, a gorgeous white sand beach for swimming, is less than a 5-minute walk and is $5.00 per person per day. There are 3 additional boat ramp access points around the lake, as well as “The Point” near the Taste of Italy restaurant that are all free of charge if cost is an issue.
